BeatCast! Podcast Episode 5 - Popculture Holiday Madness!

Seasons Greetings from the members of BeatCast!

In this pre-Xmas and New Year episode recorded last December 13, Tim "Timzster" and "Cerbojam" return after a brief absence, getting around to beginning the first half of the show by discussing the latest movie news and trailers that have hit the popculture scene while heading off to their local IMAX theater to catch the advanced screening of Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol! Later on, friends and pals Billy "It_Burns" and Mark "Mark Templar" join the fray on the second half recorded after the movie premiere, and the quartet give their two cents on the movie, as well as focusing on other news and events happening during the holiday season! From discussions on the MIB III and G.I. Joe Trailer to The Dark Knight Rises Prologue and the upcoming Xmas Toycon happening in Megamall this weekend, it's a no holds barred seasons greetings session of BeatCast for the last month of 2011!

BeatCast! Episode 3.2 - Black Comedy Popculture Ride!

In this second installment of BeatCast's two-part podcast session, Tim and Mark are once again joined by their buddy Vince (Mark Templar), as well as another old friend and Back2Gaming alum Billy, aka It_Burns! Recorded on the evening of September 14 just after watching the advanced screening of the zany all-star black comedy called "Horrible Bosses", the boys pool in their thoughts on how the movie was, and chaos ensues as a result of it! Through the conversation, Timzster and It_Burns highlight the gaming category with impressions on Sony's Press Conference during Tokyo Game Show '11 week and expectations on the PS Vita. Also, more news piles up in the form of MORE DC The New 52 and comic book updates! With all of this recorded during one heck of a road trip, expect one heck of a session here, as delivered by BeatCast!

BeatCast! Episode 3.1 - A Contagious Stream of Updates!

The boys of BeatCast! return for another "unhealthy" round of Popculture news and updates! Recorded last September 8th after watching the local advanced screening of "Contagion" in IMAX, regulars Timzster and Cerbojam are joined by the presence of one Mark Templar, and the trio give their thoughts on the aforementioned movie, as well as other movies they have seen prior to this like the Fright Night remake! Also, the boys remark on comic news, particularly the DC New 52 comic relaunch of DC Comics. Plus, a little tease on gaming and toys makes its way into the menu! Plus, a few shoutouts to the boys of BNO! Excaliburd!

The boys of BeatCast! return for the month of August with TONS of updates and news to cover for the popculture spectrum! Ushering in the month of August with a new episode recorded this weekend, Timzster and Cerbojam tackle a zany range of awesome topics, covering highlights and news from last July's epic San Diego Comic-Con to reviewing the latest and greatest movie's running in theaters, including Captain America: The First Avenger, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and *gasp* The Smurfs!? BeatCast! Podcast Ep. 1 - A Popculture News Mess!

Arising from the depths of darkness, Timzster and Cerbojam return to BeatCast! It's been a long time since the last podcast session, and the boys kick things off in high gear by discussing all the latest news and highlights from the popculture spectrum! With all the blockbuster movies out now in theaters, Tim and Mark give their impressions on Michael Bay's final Transformers movie - Transformers: Dark of the Moon, as well as discuss the mixed reactions surrounding DC's latest superhero material adapted into film, Green Lantern! They also look back at this past June's 10th Philippine Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Convention held at the SM Megamall, and give their thoughts on that two day event as well. With the impending release of the final Harry Potter movie and Captain America, as well news and buzz from this year's upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, the BeatCast! guys tackled a lot of topics on this session, so go and give this episode a listen!

BeatCast! Ep. 7 - The Sucker Punch Premiere! (Feat. Back2Gaming)

Like moths to a flame and gangsters riding high, Tim and his friends from Back2Gaming Vince and Billy made their way to SM Mall of Asia and saw the premiere of Zack Snyder's newest sensational epic action flick, Sucker Punch! Hear the tale and listen as the boys give their insights on this "headtrip" (as Billy likes to call it), and see how the visual implementation of anime, videogame, and comic book themes can blend so naturally into a film that enlists 5 gorgeous mental asylum babes and brings them into conflict with a various threats, including big ass samurai monters, nazi zombies, and fire-breathing dragons! It's as raw as it's gonna get on this newest collaboration between fanboy minds, and best be prepared for some hilarious moments concerning Billy, his *cough cough* Artbook, and his ramblings on depression! Listen up and enjoy the show!

BeatCast! Episode 6 - On Red Riding Hood and other Podcasting nonsense!

The boys of BeatCast are at it once again! After watching and going through the premiere of the "Twilight-flavored" Red Riding Hood, Tim, Mark, Billy, and Vince give their impressions on the movie and try to look for more positive ways to express their opinions on it aside from Gary Oldman's acting presence! Promotion and discussion for Back2Gaming's Podcast series also make their way into the conversation, and along with the usual round-up of games, movies, and other popculture news on the horizon, you have another intense session that goes from a parking lot to McDonald's! It's another BeatCast moment on and off the road, so go ahead and give it a listen!

BeatCast! Episode 5 - Crazy Table Group Discussions!

BeatCast! returns for the new month of March, with a group discussion that's just going to rip your head all over the place! Returning to the table are mainstays Tim, Mark, and Billy, and joining them is their lovely and dear friend Angel, and together they talk about the latest trends and news running around town, namely Mark's coverage of Varekai at the Manila Hotel, plus rants about more fighting games, namely Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Marvel Vs Capcom 3! Animated series news and other popculture trends come into the picture, but the discussion quickly regresses back into the fighting game circle, with more talk on MvC 3, the 20th Anniversary of Street Fighter II, and Billy delivering his Guilty Gear XX knowledge in a frenzy! All the voices run wild, and Angel serves up a dose of wacky comments, resulting in a podcast that's just outrageous! It's the craziest BeatCast episode yet, so tune in and give it a listen!

BeatCast! Episode 4 - Movies, Hobbies, and MvC 3 Madness!

BeatCast returns with another episode of pure hobby and popculture mayhem that's sure to make collectors excited! In this episode, Tim and Mark are joined once again by their friends and cohorts Billy and Vince, and the quartet give their impressions about several movies that have just premiered over the month, including I Am Number Four, Unknown, and Black Swan! The group also explore the big news, updates, and announcements concerning movies, toys, and games this February... especially the latter category's big release for the Xbox 360 and PS3 - Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds! BeatCast! Episode 2 - The Rite and other Popculture Tales...

BeatCast! returns for another episode of popculture goodness... as seen by pinoy fanboys! On the night of January 27, Tim and Mark watched the advanced screening of Anthony Hopkins' first film of 2011, The Rite! Joining them along for commentary on the movie as special guest is their dear friend Vince, and together the boys go down the list of geekery by talking about more things happening in movies, comics, games. From updates on Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises; The local launch date of Dead Space 2; to the revelation of the new Thundercats series.... There's a lot to be heard and said in this edition, and it's a long one at that! Listen up!

BeatCast! Episode 1 - The Green Hornet Premiere!

Prepare for excitement and adventure as the boys of BeatCast return for a new wave of podcast sessions that focus on the world of popculture! In the very first episode of the new series for the year 2011, we talk about the long awaited film adaptation of The Green Hornet, starring comedian Seth Rogen as the titular hero and Jay Chou as his sidekick Kato! Fresh from watching the premiere of the movie last January 17, we are joined by our friends and special guests Billy, Ricky, and Jobeth, as we give our comments and opinions about the superhero comedy flick and relate it to its legacy!
